New 2010 KTM 350

Also Check out the new KTM for 2010. See Malcom Smith in photo 3.

Now, seeing all this, i really want to take a trip to the So Cal. moto scene. I mean, Malcom has a lifetime of history, but why don't mountain bikers have crews and a following like these guys do. purhaps if i did more moto i'd be able to tell you how to get people to spend money on mountain biking like they do on moto.

For some reason i think i'm looking for something that's not there, mountain bikers are known for being cheap. Then again maybe not, maybe it will be all the people that are told by their wives they can't have a motorcycle that get a mountain bike, who knows?

This has got to be the next big thing in sports training.

last i checked confussing your muscles isn't what makes you good at anything. This is a sure fire recipe to be an Avarage Joe at everything you do.

Zipp OVCX tour

I've been putting this post off. I guess i just didn't believe it at first. I am the proud new owner of a set of Zipp 303's. I won them in the series raffle at the OVCX final race in Louisville last weekend.

To make things more exciting Amanda won a bike frame and fork in the raffle too. I felt as if we should run before getting mobbed in the parking lot.

With plans in place for the wheels to debut on my new CX ride at the Shamrock booth of NAHMBS (North American Hand Made Bicycle Show) i feel as though it is quickly becoming reality that i have officially won them.

Thanks to Zipp, All of the OVCX promoters and sponsors, And Mitch Gram at Biowheels for putting on the series. And i'll also take a second to point out how the series is progressing because bigger sponsors, more effort into the series AND series racers progressing onto bigger and better things (Ryan Knapp and crew hitting most of the GP races and Nats. I saw a picture of him on Cycling news yesterday!) is really paying credit to what is happening there.

Thanks to all. We'll be back next year, bigger and better as well.

Picnic Tap

My new friend down in Louisville gave me this new toy over the weekend. I'm trying to figure out how to convert it so i can use either 12g CO2 or a bike pump... because i like options.

Look for the picnic tap

Mountain biking in the winter

Every year it takes me a little bit of time to warm up to the idea of riding in the cold. (haha) But i saw the pictures in the link to the right ---> "Why is rockin' smiling???" and now i'm ready.
